The Sea

In English, this week we are starting unit 8. It's about sea live and sea objects. Here you have a song called "Everything beneath the sea" and a story about dangers under the sea.

En inglés esta semana empezamos la unidad 8. Trata sobre la vida y los objetos del mar.Aquí tenéis una canción llamada "Todo bajo el mar" y una historia sobre los peligros del mar.

Reading books

In this web site you will find lots of books for children to read. You can select books according to the colour of the band (each stage has one colour, in class we are reading now lilac and green band books that correspond to stages 1 and 2. Grey band books are stories to listen). It will be great if during the summer holidays children will read at least one book per day and speak about the story with an adult.

Anytime you read a book please write in comments the following information:

• Book title
• Characters
• A sentence about the book. For example: "It's Chip's Birthday"
• Did you like the book?

En esta página encontraréis muchos libros para que los niños/as lean. Podéis elegir los libros según el color de la banda (Nosotros en clase ahora estamos leyendo los de la banda lila y los de la banda verde que corresponden al nivel 1 y 2. Los de la banda gris son historias narradas). Sería fantástico que durante el verano, los niños/as pudieran leer un libro al día y hablar sobre él con un adulto.

Materials: Unit 12 Science

In unit 12 we're learning about materials. First children will be introduced different materials and if they are natural or manufactured materials. Then they will be taught the most common properties materials may have. Finally they will review the three r's rules: Reduce, recicle and reuse materials.
