Hi everybody, In units 10 and 11 we are studying forces and energy.

A force is the ablity to move something by pulling or pushing.

Energy is the ability to do some work. Electricity is a kind of energy.

Trinity

As you all know, this year, in 2nd grade children will take the Trinity exam. It constis of an interview with an examiner from an English speaking country. Children will speak about their lives, their families, their school and interests, etc.

In the next days I will give you a list of questions we have been practising in class for reviewing them at home. 

We still don't know the date but it's going to be during the last weeks of may.

Here you have some videos in which you can see how the interview is going to be.

It's important children ask the examiner too, it has to be a conversation. The more they speak, the better so they have to give full answers. 

The Solar System

Before our second term field trip to The Astronomy Center in Fuenlabrada we are studying in class "The Solar System". To teach you where it is in the Universe I have prepared this presentation.

The city

In unit 7 in Science we are learning lots of things about a city: places in a city, giving directions, diferences between city, town and village, transports, public and private buildings, road safety and jobs.

Let's start by reviewing town places:

For giving directions we use the following structures: Go straight on, turn left, turn right.

Look at the map above. Play with somebody. Give directions to go from one place to another.
